Solar Cell Laminator

The new Almex Solar Cell Laminator is designed to laminate flexible and rigid solar panels, solar cells, and solar modules. After placing a solar device on the bottom platen, the hinged upper frame will close, and the vacuum is initiated. The lower platen is electrically heated to 300 °F. The high wattage carbon-graphite heater provides rapid heating with low energy consumption, and the vacuum chamber will draw down to 500 milliTorr. The panel is laminated for 8 minutes and then the bottom platen is rapidly cooled. The entire cycle takes only 30 minutes to complete and the operation is fully automatic. For even faster cycle times, a two stage unit can be built. Press sizes are built to order to tailor to your specific applications.
